Ghostly Serenade

There was a house that I lived in with my Mom, Brother, and 2 Sisters. There seemed to be nothing special about this house, just your ordinary house. The only wierd thing about it is that late at night you would swear somebody was playing a stereo or radio. It would be loud and clear, yet you could never make out the song. I've even heard what I thought were commercials or just the disc jockeies talking. To me it sounded mostly like heavy metal music. To my sister it sounded like opera. To my Mom it sounded like classical music.

It would always be there every night. It would have to be totally silent in the house to hear it, but it would get so loud. Then my Grandfather had to move in with us because he couldn't care for himself to well anymore. Nobody ever told him about the "music", but he would complain that one of us kids were playing their music at night and keeping him from sleeping! We would tell him about the "ghostly music" but he would never believe us. He would insist it was one of us kids playing our stereo at night.

We never had any harmful things happen in the house, nor any apiritions. Just the music. People have spent the night and have heard it too. Nobody can explain it. The wierdest thing is that after we moved from that house, the "music" followed! My sister hears it in her house, along with her husband. My Mom hears it in her house too. So far my Brother, my other Sister, and Myself have not heard it in our homes. But I can always go over to one of their houses if I ever want to be serenaded to sleep!
