The Unseen Being

Two strange things that came back to me while reading about UFO's. When living in Long Beach, Ca., about 16 or 17, I suddenly woke up in my bed and found that I couldn't move. Further, I heard someone/something breathing and felt the weight of someone/something lying beside me (I was laying on my right side, facing west, on the right side of the bed if lying on my back). It was upon hearing the breathing and trying to turn over to see what it was that I discovered I couldn't move. I was immobile and could hear the thing/being (at the time, I did have a mental image of what it might look like) breathing regularly and deeply.

I intensified my efforts to move as I was beginning to panic. I broke free, turned over and saw nothing... the breathing and the presence I felt were gone. I've had frequent bouts of being immobile upon waking, but figured it normal. I've had "dreams" where I'm flying and the sensation being very, very real. So much so that it almost makes me feel like, some how, some way, that it's possible. I've woken up in the morning at times with strange unexplainable scratches, but no scars that I am aware of...

Another time, while at home by myself, I was in my parents room, leaning up against the headboard, watching tv. They had a king size bed and there was at least five feet from the soles of my feet to the edge of the bed. I must have fallen asleep, because I was jarred awake by the sensation of being pulled by the lower legs. Upon springing up, I found myself at the foot of the bed, my legs dangling off. I ran from the house to a neighbors, not even stopping to lock up. My parents had to come and retrieve me when they found me not at home and a message left by the neighbor.
